Ever wanted to tap your friends in the face repeatedly? Here’s a quick way to add a picture of your friends or yourself as an icon on your iPhone home page.
How to use a Picture of Friends or Yourself as an Icon on your iPhone
1. Use Safari on your iPhone to navigate to you or your friends social network page ( i.e. Myspace, Twitter, YouTube). Note: I don’t know the person in the picture below and she was only used as an example.
2. Zoom in on the users picture until it fills the entire screen of the phone, or at least the part of the picture that you would like to use as the icon. Note: The picture will appear blurry, this does not matter. Once resized to an icon, the picture will be very clear.
3. Now click the plus “+” button at the bottom of the screen and select “Add to Home Screen”.
4. Now choose”Add” at the top right of the screen.
You should now have an icon of your friend on the home page of your iPhone that will link back to the website you got the picture from. Add all of your friends for a quick visual way to access them. You could get pretty creative with this tip if you wanted.
