One way to build your name on the web is to showcase some of your work to the internet masses. If you’re above average at photography, Photoshop, video editing, WordPress design, logo design or just design in general, showcasing your work is one way to build your brand and draw in clients as well. To help you get started, here is my list of 10 Sites To Show Off Your Design Work.

PhotoshopContest

Enter yourself into a Photoshop competition where the winner gets $50.00 and some free marketing. This particular site assigns you a given image and must be used within your creation.

National Geographic International Photography Contest

Enter the National Geographic International Photography Contest and compete against thousands for a chance to have your image featured in the magazine and a digital camera kit. You can’t buy marketing like that for cheap. A win would certainly create an opportunity for a photography Blogger.

flickr Groups

flickr Groups are a great way to show off your work. The TWIP (This Week In Photography) Contest Pool is a larger group that is given an assignment title such as Reflections or Shallow Depth of Field and the user is to create an image based on each assignment. Photoshop is allowed in this contest.

Submit your WordPress site to the Wordpress.org Showcase for an opportunity to become a featured site. One Blog that became featured in the showcase a couple of months back gained 6,000 impressions in a single day. Definitely good for business.
