15 Websites That Pay You To Blog
Posted on 26. Dec, 2009 by Shawn Ramsey in Design
If you own a regularly updated blog, chances are you are a pretty decent writer. There are several ways in which you can earn a little passive income by putting these skills to work for you. In most cases it’s pretty straightforward, you write about a certain company or review a product and in return you get paid.
If you’re smart, your inner-voice should be screaming “gimmick” right now. There are literally dozens of these sites that spring up everyday. Most of them have a pretty short life-expectancy and fizzle away rather quickly. A few however are successful and have been around for several years and in some cases a decade or more.
Think about it first
Keeping a trustworthy relationship with your readers is priceless. If you do choose to engage in writing paid posts, keep it real with your reviews and don’t write something for the sole reason of receiving a paycheck.
Note: We at Bluefaqs.com do not engage in any pay-to-blog advertising. If you choose to sign-up with one of the following companies, be smart and read any fine print before committing.

These sites are a good start but i think it should be noted that if you have the skill to make money on any of those sites, you probably have the skills to make money on your own site (and retain copyright). Just throw up some adsense, amazon affiliate links and other affiliate links.

Dave - I completely agree with you. This list is geared more to someone who would like to get their feet wet in writing for blogs and maybe see a return on their investment as well.

@Shawn Definitely, these are great little places to get started when you have no idea how to really start a blog.
I submit various posts to websites like these from time to time but (I’ll admit it) it’s generally work that I don’t want or past articles I’ve wrote for college that has been sitting around.
It’s a good way to get a bit of extra cash for old works that’s going stagnant.
