How to Insert a Link in YouTube Description

Posted on 19. Feb, 2009 by Shawn Ramsey in Misc

YouTube is made up of a huge community of web users. If you upload video that is relevant to a website that you own or want to promote, insert a link to that site to increase traffic. Here’s what you do.

1. First you click on your username on the top right. Then your profile will open.

2. From there you select your video.

3. On the video page, click on edit video. From there you will be able to add a link to your description

4. Add a link in this format: http://www.bluefaqs.com

Don’t use the html format to insert the link ex. BlueFAQS.com . It won’t work. Hope this helps.
